The Hubertenstiftung
Hubertenstiftung gGmbH is a non-profit foundation in Freiburg. Our aim is not returns, but to give students a home and a community and to support science, education and student life, just as our founders experienced and lived it.
To this end we run two residences in the Wiehre district, right by the Sternwald forest.
Our residences
Haki-Schmidt-Haus
Türkenlouisstraße 11, Freiburg
Our residence for students: 29 rooms in shared flats and 2 separate apartments, each with a large kitchen and living room at its heart. There is also a bicycle cellar and parking right outside.
The house is named after our benefactor Dr. Detlef Schmidt and sits quietly in nature right by the Sternwald, close to universities, institutes and Wiehre station.
Corpshaus of the Hubertia
Fürstenbergstraße 23, Freiburg
The house of Corps Hubertia, founded in Karlsruhe in 1868 as a fraternity of forestry students and based in Freiburg since the forestry department moved here. After the house on Schlossbergstraße and the one on Fürstenbergstraße, this is the Hubertia’s third Corpshaus, a new building with 6 rooms.
Event spaces
